The Hannah Montana formula is being used over and over now though. Before her, teen stars didn't have a stand in charts unless your name was Britney Spears or Hilary Duff. Hannah brought the relevance back. Have you noticed the string of 3D concert movies coming out in theaters lately? Michael, Justin, Glee, and Katy have all copied what Hannah did first.
Look at Disney, or even Nick's formula for all of their shows now. Every single one is about stardom and being famous. Who was the first to do that? Hannah. I mean, what has Single Ladies inspired? I know it's memorable, in the way that everyone konws the line, "If you like it then you should've put a ring on it." but what else? Some dance videos on youtube? I don't see it.
