DvnS? I mess, Matty.
PS: It was before I accepted Sabi as the Queen of everything good in life. I knew who she was by this time, though.
Thanks for the opinions, judges. I truly do agree with the comments about my entry needing a bit more detail in some cases, and when I posted that I was sorry for the length, I had no clue that 75% of the entries were longer.
@mockinjay - Haha yeah, I was tempted to, but I decided to put a lid on it for the sake of anyone who happened to be less of a fan.
@Red - I'M SORRY I JUST CAN'T PULL IT OFF Though manipulative and cunning are pretty much synonymous, so maybe.
Thanks to the rest of the judges as well, much appreciated.

Yeah, I was not impressed too much by this entry. Admittedly, it has a bit to do with the grammar being used throughout your entry. I mean, really, "stan wards"? I guess that's where many of the posters here are posting from nowadays, but I don't think that this is what you meant. But it also has something to do with how this was such an awful first challenge for you. Your name is something that anyone can figure out what it means the moment that they see it. This is not something that is your fault, but it is what it is. Overall, through this one entry, I just don't know if I see "Top Member" potential in you. When you submitted your application, I saw potential. I saw someone who had some interesting characteristics that could lead to a strong finish. I didn't see that potential or those characteristics in this entry.

See, this is a name that just makes me afraid to say anything negative about Rihanna, for fear you’ll be right there counteracting my every post. That, to me, is an effective username in ATRL, ‘cause it shows your love for your fave and your need to defend her. My only gripe is the “navy” part as you’ve said because your name sounds more like a forum than a username.

First of all, what you said about "Ammer Jammer" being the "coolest" nickname in school made me feel sad for the state of public schools in America. Granted, we didn't really have cool nicknames when I was in school at your age, but god, surely, someone could have come up with a "cooler" nickname. I'll admit, the first time that I saw this SN, I immediately thought of MC Hammer. Then again, my mind is stuck in the 90's, so that's going to happen. I like that you're confident enough in the name that you feel that it represents a mature, rational you and accurately reflects who you are now. Confidence does matter. One thing that I'm going back and forth on is whether or not "Ammer" really imposes a mature image. I mean, clearly, there are much less mature names here, but does "Ammer" REALLY reflect maturity? And I don't mean how you reflect maturity. You have shown me so far that you do reflect maturity. I mean the name itself. That's what I'm trying to decide. On another note, "Jammer" would have gotten you nowhere, so I'm glad you did not choose THAT to be your SN.

I like original names (i.e. names that don’t have anything to do with the forum you’re on and represents you and only you), but I’m not too keen on the username. It’s sorta safe, plus it just feels more like a name and less of a representation. I enjoyed your story, and kinda wished you kept the “Jammer” part, but I understand you wanted to show a more mature side than the name originally had.

Sometimes, you don't have to elaborate too much about what your name means. Sometimes, it just means exactly what it means. In your case, you love owls, so you wanted a SN that reflected how much you love owls. There's just not much more that you needed to do here. Some people will see this entry as being woefully short, but I see that you did not need to elaborate much more than you did. Maybe you could have included more on when you fell in love with owls, but, beyond that, I think that you explained shortly and sweetly why your SN is what it is.

I swear, I don’t even have to read your story to know it’s gonna be about your love for owls, but I did. Truthfully, you’ve made a name out of an animal for yourself. I think you are the only person I’ve seen use owl gifs or even had the balls to use owl gifs... Again, lack of originality using an animal as your name, but I still like the idea of not only representing yourself as an animal, but following through with the ideal as well.

Short but sweet, but I feel like it needed something more. You like owls and connect with them, try to describe what connects you to them. Just it needed something more.

(side note: have you heard/seen the "i'mma cut you" song/video yet? ). ultimately, i wish you'd have said a little more about your personality change, not just that you like to quote bon qui qui... "i'mma have to call you back" next round and hope you bring it a bit more. i know you have it in you.

I see that you took my advice to heart, because, honestly, I really saw something interesting from you with this entry. I have always been confused by your SN and what it actually meant, primarily because I never watched MADtv beyond a clip or two. Once you explained that it came from MADtv, I braced myself for the worst...but I actually really enjoyed how this seemingly innocuous clip led to a drastic personality change (and a good change, at that). It's funny how the most unexpected things can change your life or how you act. The Simpsons had that effect on my personality, actually. I quote it constantly, and I find that a lot of the "wit" and "humor" that I showcase here was influenced by The Simpsons. I can absolutely relate to your epiphany, as I've been there myself.

Most usernames represent their favorite artists, but yours represents, probably, one of the funniest sketches from MadTV and for that, you deserve an applause. Truthfully, Bon-Qui-Qui reminds me of almost every “spiteful” bitch on ATRL, but you gotta love them for that. Just saying, your name kinda represents not only an unforgettable character, but ATRL itself in a way.

I knew about your top 50 before most people, as I happen to be a chart junkie myself and constantly delve into the depths of YouTube to find new weekly charts to amuse myself with. Because of this, I knew exactly why you had the name TheGeoKing on ATRL, though the only thing that I wasn't as sure about is why, exactly, you called yourself "TheGeoKing". I'm glad to see that it IS because of you being overconfident of your geography knowledge. I also appreciated that you had the name "Geographsyco", because...yeah, I've had terrible names such as those in the past myself. RyanTRLMan, DxSWEETdx, FreakInTheEnd...I've been there, believe me. I think that you went on a bit TOO much about your top 50, though. It almost felt like an advertisement by the end...though I do like that you also mentioned how the top 50 was a main reason why you actually wound up posting here in the first place.

Dood, with a name like that, you could rule the world. There’s power and authority in your name which makes me happy, and there’s your obsession or likable factor in the world, which makes me very happy. There’s originality in your name as well, so basically your name is a 3/3

You gave a great background story about your name and how it was made, but you didn’t really give how it is you. You went from how you made your name to how you enjoy ATRL. Where is you, besides your love for Geography, in your username.

my first question is, if you "reclaimed evan," why did you go with "evun" as your sn? after the story of having your name misspelled it did seem a bit odd... however, i REALLY enjoyed the story about wanting to leave a lasting impression. i look forward to you leaving a lasting impression on this competition as well.

Oh boy, I've been there. You have no idea. I was the shy, studious kid myself in first grade, but the difference between you and me is that very few kids actually signed my yearbook. I know, what a tragedy. I also had my name misspelled constantly. It did not help that my name was a longer name, so it became MUCH tougher to spell it correctly, especially for a first grader. That having been said, I've never had my name misspelled quite that badly. I mean, EVEN. If your last name is Stevens, that might just very well be the worst thing that could ever happen to a child. I like that your SN is basically an extension of the misspellings that you had endured for so long. I would never do that myself, but, after dealing with being called "Even", I can understand why you would. And Evun? Yeah, that name will be remembered. How can you NOT remember it? Oh, and I also love how you referred to your time in elementary school as a "career". When your name is being misspelled like that, I bet that your time in elementary school felt long enough to be like a career. Fantastically written, tells an interesting story, and we know how your name came to be...what's not to like?

“Your name misspelled” is basically what your username is, and that’s fine and dandy, but it’s kind of either boring or whatever in my eyes. I understand the gripe of having your name misspelled (most people forget the ‘s’ in my last name, or switch the ‘a’ and ‘l’ so it reads “Pslams” instead of “Psalms”), but you learn to let those things go. This feels like you can’t, but it’s perfectly understandable what your name represents.

I can relate to the whole being shy and making a change so people would remember you. I just never quite got the name misspelling though I did get called my brother’s name a lot. I love how you went with Evun to kind of make fun of it in an empowering way. That last part reminded me of the ending of Lilo & Stitch haha.

The description of your name was not overly simple or overly long. In other words, you explained what your name meant in a way that everyone can understand what it means. That's a job well done. And you're absolutely right that it describes exactly who you are, both the name and the number. I don't really have too much to say about the actual entry. I wasn't blown away by it, but it was a solid, straightforward explanation. Oh, one thing I will say: Please don't use "teehee" at the end of an entry again. It's definitely a personal pet peeve of mine, sure, but it also seems a bit TOO silly, especially at the end of such a serious entry.

Again, love the idea that your number represents the day your were born; it shows number can have significance. When I read your first pair of sentences, my eyes literally widened. I’ve never seen anybody who was so proud of their name, and, to me, that is just amazing to hear and read. I love that you are proud of your name, what it represents and who you are, so you get big ups from me for your entry.

I like how you are proud of your generic name. It shows strength in being who you are. My only concern is, your outpour love for Jesus. Trust me I love Jesus as well, but that issue is still pretty controversial on ATRL. You have your love for your faith and religion which is amazing, but let’s tone it down a bit okay.
Now it's time to figure out who is going home... in the next post
