Her body of work is stronger, by far. But he's FAR from a one hit wonder. All of the albums preceding Thriller catapulted that one album to be as huge and iconic as it is. You could make the argument that all successive albums are revolved around matching that success, but not the predecessor albums

Madonna at 53 put out a pretty ****** album but still opened bigger than Beyonce with much bigger promo/Target deal and Britney with safe, formula Dr Luke/Max Martin radio hits.

That sort of longevity is based on some sort of talent, even if it's not singing/dancing.
