Most of Madonna's talent is what we really think of conventional talent, except for performing. She's one of the best at that.

Madonna is the perfect, cookie cutter popstar that everyone should follow. Her talent was to provoke people, market herself, mold her image and music with the changing of time, and adapt to her musical surroundings to stay relevant. In that case, she's probably the most talented one at that anyone can ever remember.

She has the it factor as someone has said above. It's almost like Rihanna, she can sing a song and it would become a hit because it's HER singing it. If anyone else sang the same song it would most likely flop. It's just the personality that she puts in her music that people adore. In a sense that is a certain talent but compared to many other artist she's certainly a bit overrated.
