I can honestly say that "Whip It" is indeed on "Super Bass" level. The way it perfectly combines rap, breakdowns, and hooks is just fantastic. The Carribean influence is also amazing, and the breakdown even has a few dubstep wobbles. "Whip It" is the perfect dance-pop/rap song.
Sorry, Reed.

I'm not sure how to explain how it has Carribean influences. The soft melody at the very start is very "bubblegum Carribean" to me, it wouldn't be out of place on an island on the beach on a hot summer's day. And also the "na na na na na we go" part is a Carribean influence in my books. Again, I can't explain why it is, but to me it just is. Judging from reviews and other user's posts, people agree with me.
He probably imagines doing the Dutty Whine to the "my head goes round and a round r-round and a round" and the "I'm really likin' the way you whip it whip it whip it whip it whip it whip it " after that like I do

I don't just imagine doing the dutty whine to that song, I have actually dutty whine'd to "Whip It" multiple times.

Omg, right? I've also moaned a couple of times while dancing to this track.
I wrote them all up and I know I posted them on here last night but it was kinda late and I just wanna make sure everyone sees them because I know how important it is for me to learn all the lyrics and I can't be the only one out there like that Lol I just know that some people came on here later when the lyrics were already pushed a few threads back..so enjoy
I hope she does more Hip Hop. I feel there was too much Pop-Rap on this album, but it's still catchy. I think it would be smarter to make one disc for the Hip-Hop fans and one for the Pop fans...
