if the next album has as much pop as this album, then I don't really want much to do with it
& if her hip hop lacks substance or at least M4L, catch me , champion type of songs, I won't use.
& idk why but I get a feeling that she already has plans for the next album.
I think we'll get a new album summer or fall 2013.
she said she touring summer & fall this year so I don't think she'll have time to record until the beginning of 2013. unless she does what gaga & rih do & record on tour.

actually id rather her rap about anything but her gloating about her crown and stuff but i expect early 2014 at the least, this era may have started messy but it could end pretty well!! o:

She said that this album was especially dedicated to the Barbz, but with the extra pop, it really wasn't This era was so messy tbh she's tarnished her image rather than built it (not for me, but if the general public isn't having it, I'm really worried for her).
The album is good, I love it, but if Nicki wants to be a hip-hop mogul, she'll have to actually do more hip-hop. People will really just bandwagon because of the pop side but if she truly wants an empire, then build off the empire that was given to you in the first place.
lol sorry i had to vent i still think this album ***** though

i agree, but she tends to like to push the envelope and break the rules, that's sort of who nicki minaj is. but i will admit i want Onika to take the stage in nicki's mind.
Autobiography
Can Anybody Here Me
We miss you
my ultimate emotional nicki trinity
but all we can do is see what she'll do, man her diversity is such a double edge sword shes soo good at all the types of music she does i feel like she cant completely satisfy all unless she puts out 30 track album with it being carefully constructed for all shades of her

I actually pity her because people expect so much from her Her diversity is indeed a curse.

but tbh and real that album where she goes lyrical and addresses her real life issues and others >>>>
that's what made pink friday so great! i remember when one of the people from the label told her on the "my time now" documentary " if she does open up and show the world who she is she might be gone forever"
that's when nicki became a artist and not a entertainer. nicki was a master at making rap entertaining but she lacked the emotional moving artistic work but when she did use it (pf) she constructed a nice album with gems, her emotional work made those songs GEMS!
hopefully with the next album she opens back up because like Drake said her calm and emotional side is just as big as her crazy one

with each album and release she seems to be losing and gaining fans SIMULTANEOUSLY.
I'm not mad or hating on you guys, i'm just saying what i realize i really hope she gives you guys what you need i would hate her to lose awesome fans like you guys.

I get she's experimenting with sounds & stuff, but let's be honest, her pop music completely overshadowed the genre that got her to where she is right now.. I love the album, but it's just a complete 180 from what I was expecting & what she had hyped it up to be like & I guess that's why I feel the way I do right now. I want her to grow & really make a name for her self in the music industry & that's not going to happen if she pays her hip hop songs dust like she did with this album. I'm not saying the songs are bad though cause I actually really like them, I just wanted a little more substance in them & a little less bragging.
but honestly though, I actually don't see myself NOT stanning for her, I love her too much

Everything will fall into place. Nicki has her entire life mapped out. Like she said she writes everyday.

I know sis. We all know Nicki, and we couldn't honestly think she wouldn't brag after the last few years she had.
Look at it this way, each album has a progression and a theme. Nicki is maturing and she won't completely forget Hip-Hop.

I would love an emotional album, like what y'all want. An album full of "Here I Am"s, "Catch Me"s, and "Right Thru Me"s would be amazing. But seeing her try to recreate some of those songs with "Fire Burns" makes me kinda worried. I would prefer HIA, CM, and SM to remain the prime Onika than to have a bunch of remakes that weren't very good like FB.

I love that little "wooo!" she does before the final chorus of VVV. It just gets me extra pumped and makes me shake it harder.

Way to ruin the song for me, I hadn't heard it yet.
Joke. I shall hear it in full for the first time tomorrow when I get my hands on the physical copy.

Then we end with vengeful Roman we know today.
This is all bull, but ten bucks Nicki says something like this if pressed on what the album means.
|
That would contradict her statement about showing growth if she ends handling it all ratchet and angry. Furthermore, she didn't really explain her album cover because she felt others should interpret it they way they want....for her first record...do you recall her going into detail about her last album...I'm not sure. Either way I doubt she would be so.detailed about her album but am interested in what she has to say.

You're strong for being able to hold on, and actually you're lucky you read up on it beforehand, your body needs to be fully ready for the amount of slayage VVV brings, especially on fully blast. You will bop uncontrollably.
