Yeah. I think if her movie career really takes off this year and the next, she's going to want to focus on acting. She seems kind of over music. Looking in from tbe outside of course.

We all should talk about this. Next year we may be getting our last Selena album.
Do you guys think she's gonna stop her music career altogether? Renew her contract with HWR for a few more albums? Or do you think she's gonna try to find a new label home?
I think if the next album does as well as the previous three, she's going to be convinced to push out two more by HWR. I don't think Selena will be looking for another label because she seeems pretty content with the success she's had with HWR.

I'm 99% sure that HWR are gonna pitch that to Selena. She's their biggest money maker atm. They'll offer her a renewal, it's up to her on whether she continues with them or not. I don't know what she'd do, she might renew it but then again she might surprise us.

Tough call. Interscope is good but that label is too crowded. She'd probably be 2nd rate to them, RCA is terrible with some artists and OK with others, Republic is disgusting but I think if Selena were to be signed with them they'd give her good treatment.
Yah I don't want her to get the secondbest treatment by other labels. She seems to be one of, if not the top artist at HWR right now. Don't want her to have to start over again and build cred at another label. if HWR would ****ing act right and release and promote her singles the right way, I'd be OK with her staying with them.

I agree. If they gave her at least 3 singles with each album, good release dates for them and good add dates (not 2 or 6 months later), better music video releases, and better promo (she has never done American Idol or any big show) then I'd be happy with them.
