I don’t know what the hell are they smoking, since Bieber himself has said repeatedly that he's trying to emulate Justin's career. I expect him to keep recycling Justin’s ideas. It's a huge compliment when you have young stars emulating a person who is only 30 years old and has only released two records.

You do realize that only happened because if he joined JT's label it would have been bad for both of them... They would have been too heavily criticized that JT was trying to turn Justin into a younger version of him. Bieber would have also been dragged for copying JT, either party can't win. I'm definitely no Bieber stan, but I'm guessing thats why both backed out of the deal is that they were too similar.

Scooter Braun (Justin's manager) revealed in a recent interview that the reason they signed with Usher is because he was willing to give JB the career that he wanted. Timberlake wasn't giving him enough freedom and the label would control his career. Plus, many of his influences were involved with Def Jam or Usher at the time, so it made more sense to go with him. I don't think JB would be as successful if he went with Timberlake anyway.
