I don't think there's an in between being a teen artist and an adult artist. Like you can't target to adolescents, I think lol. It's 18+ for her now and that means having to compete with artist that have that audience as well, Rihanna and co. She pretty much had the tween market all to herself.

Coming from her Disney back ground, I think it's kind of different for her. I imagine a lot of Miley stans are in their mid to late teens or early 20's.

I have a feeling that's how a lot of her fans will react if she does. Which is why this is all interesting to me.

I mean, they didn't even buy her cover which was countryish. I looked at that as a nice way to test the waters.
She could do a hybrid kind of sound but it depends on how country she wants to be.
