I'm not a fan of this hot 100 debuting business, songs that don't deserve it are getting there i.e. Part of me. Sharing the debuts with MJ, Whitney and Mariah...if the song is hot and I mean really hot, then ok, but if it's not....SMH.
I agree that 350k won't ensure a #1 debut but once JB removes WAY from the #1 spot, they will lose that exposure and likely fall a bit more than just to 300k. I can see them falling to ~250k, which is obviously still huge but it won't require Justin to sell as much to get #1.
The song is sounding kinda hot. Still have to hear the whole thing to form a solid opinion, but I can see this one doing 400k+. It has the full 7 days, too.
We Are Young will probably sell around 300k next week. By the time airplay tracking ends the following Tuesday, it will have around 120M AI (and I'm being conservative).
