I think she just likes to play it safe with singles for some reason... there will no doubt be at least 7-8 tracks better than Disaster on her album... I think she just released it because she had an emotional tie to the track

JoJo's label chose Disaster as the single. Not her. She hoped for something else.
And when JoJo writes a song for another artist she makes sure the song is catered to the artist. At least that's what she said.

Marvin's Room 's lyrics are amazing. And she wrote it herself on the way to an airport.
Even if you don't like the song itself you cannot deny how well it's written and how raw it is.
"**** that new girl that's been in your bed and when you're in her I know I'm in your head" is one of my favorite lines in a song ever.
Let JoJo write a break-up song for Selena and watch how amazing that'd be.
