I have always found this to be a really immature thing to do. Sure, you may not be a huge fan of the song, but it isn't exactly like it takes up a lot of space on your hard drive

Yeah, but the majority of those plays I have watched my iTunes count up on my computer anyway. And I trust the counter on my iPod, because I know how obsessively I listened to it.

I think you can download last.fm for your iPod, I've done that with my phone.
Having a full album minus one song just doesn't make sense to me
My friend deletes songs because she has a hard drive with like over 15 thousand songs on it It's crazy. I hope the RIAA doesn't invade her, so when she had Gaga's album she deleted a few tracks to keep the MB's in order
I can give you all an example of how much I listened to the song.
When the song first came out, I was making 16 twenty-minute journeys in my car per week, as well as 7 ten-minute journeys and 2 fifteen-minute journeys, totalling around 7 hours of driving per week. MTN was on repeat for 8 weeks like that, for driving alone. That accounts for over 750 plays in only 8 weeks, and doesn't include the fact that it was on repeat at least 4 hours per day whilst revising for my exams
It isn't worth not having a full collection. I like it much better when there is a good song on an album you don't like, then you can just buy it singly.
No, iTunes. And trust me, every play is real. I had that song on repeat for weeks.
