That's how I kind of feel with the BTW album. I feel more connected to it than TFM and TF and is probably the reason why my favourite album from Gaga is Born This Way.

By all expectations, it underperformed. But I guess that's just part of an artist's career. It's something they have to face, go through, and learn from. I am sure Gaga will do so. At least, I am sure her management will

Yeah I know, that whole "in love with a bad guy" thing. But I can not connect to the song because of his theme (since I'm a christian ) even if it's just a metaphor. BUT it's still one of my favorite Gaga song ever.

I totally agree. Even though why I can see and totally understand why the public (generally) prefer TFM to BTW, I just can't connect with it on a personal level. Especially after going through somewhat of an identity crisis, I just liked having Gaga there telling me it was okay to be who I want to be

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore TFM and TF but I feel the same as you. It's got nothing to do with success.
