Guys, don't get your hopes up for an epic video. I'm going to guess that it will be low budget and mediocre (with nothing exciting except Kelly looking gorgeous).. that way if it IS epic I will be happily surprised. I don't want to set high expectations to be disappointed.

And, I don't think we'll see Joseph Kahn.. seems he was very upset at the label for the Already Gone video. They edited the video on him and shortened it and left out a crucial scene that I'm guessing tied the video together. Does anyone know if he's done a video for an RCA artist since that? I'm curious.

None of Kelly's videos from this era has a storyline. PLEASE DS. They could do a lot with it, and I'm getting Because of You video vibes when I think about the ways they could handle this video.

We need something really emotive and beautifully dark!

Agreed, and that doesn't only mean beautiful imagery. The video NEEDS to have meaning in another way. I hope someone writes a treatment that's intricate but subtle at the same time, if that makes any sense. I also hope it's not low budget But I'm optimistic that because of WDKY's success and the fact that I'm sure RCA have a lot of promo lined up for this single, Kelly will invest in it.

Adele's video is such a disappointment. You can only watch it once and then you're over it. I want DS to be like Because of You. I can still watch that video today and feel moved by it. It's one of Kelly's most watched videos and that's part of the reason why, imo. Plus she looks gorgeous in it, but she's also looked amazing in the videos this era. It takes more!

I really don't mind the band as long as that's not the focus. Cutting band scenes into the video would be fine as long as she has a plot. Like straight up, I wish Kelly would take bigger risks with videos like she used too
