Fernando's lows are worse than RedOne's lows. Look at the non-single TFM songs that he produced: Monster and So Happy I Could Die ****. They're amazing songs. Gaga gets RedOne to be much more creative with his sound, and RedOne pushes Gaga to make her concept/melody have a focus and commercial viability. Fernando doesn't do this quite as well.

Fernando allows Gaga too much freedom. While I don't have a problem with that I think it becomes a problem when the music has too much going on. I think he doesn't challenge her because she's a very pushy woman she fights for what she wants. I think RedOne knows how to take what Gaga tells him and construct it in a way that's commercial while still staying true to Gaga. They're both great though.
