Honestly I'm happy she didn't keep it because I love Selena on it but I can just imagine how flawless Pixie would have sounded on it.
Toby Gad co-wrote and produced and I think that's one of the reasons why I love it as-well. I love Toby's work, he's given Selena some of her best songs!
I don't know if it was a leftover or not but it sounds like it ... it sounds like it would fit into Pixies album rather than sound out of place on Selenas... what selena should've done is get a nice up tempo and asked Pixie to jump on it

But I don't want an album full of uptempos from Selena. It's not like she's gonna do much justice for it live. Selena needs to do more ballads. She doesn't even have a real ballad on this album which is sad because she sounds the best on her ballads.
The problem is all of her ballads has been 2nd rate. She needs a really good, well-written ballad. The type of ballads that would actually do well as a single.
