hard candy era was all together ok
the songs were good!
but the photoshoots?
i mean what the hell?
Yasss, toyboy! We'll keep this base goin till the bitter end.
I agree, visually Hard Candy was a straight up mess, but the actual album itself was really good. The only song I don't use whatsoever is Dance 2night.

Also, she definitely could've milked that era out more. Beat Goes On definitely could've been her first 2nd single top 10 since music, and she could've released a few more singles like She's Not Me.

you can use that theme in a better and not such a cheap way!
Yeah, they took a decent idea and completely butchered it.
I think my favourite era overall has to be Ray of Light. I mean, flawless album, flawless imagery, flawless singles run, what else can you ask for really?

I think my favourite era is, as you have all mentioned, Ray of Light, but Bedtime Stories is way up there as well. Those singles (Secret, Take a Bow, Human Nature, Bedtime Story), those videos, those vocals,
there's some madonna movie/documentary on Vh1 Classic never saw it b4..but I'm bored so I guess I watch it......it's called Truth or Dare. Why is in black and white I feel like I'm watching a movie from the 1930's lmao
Is this real or staged? I can't tell if she's acting or not in certain parts right now lmao

It is a documentary, and it is one of Madonna's best visual testimonies of her influence as an artist, celebrity and pop icon. I watched it only last year (#flopstan) after all these years of being a fan, and I still enjoyed it.
you know what i hate about base threads?
you can't see it in the timeline up on the page
so nobody can see that there is really something happening in here
