Speak Now Certifications
Australia 3× Platinum
Canada 3× Platinum
Brazil Gold ( I think that this is new )
Ireland Gold
Japan Gold
New Zealand Platinum
Philippines Platinum
United Kingdom Gold
United States 4× Platinum
I don't know why people are saying Taylor's album are not succeeding WW , look at those certifications , yeah she's no MJ at international sales , but for a country artist , she has done way more than everyone in the genre !
Like , Speak Now charted in about 21 different places
and it's lowest charting number is #45 in Belgian Albums Chart (Wallonia)
True the album might not have charted for weeks but as far as WW album recognition , I think it's very VERY well for a country labeled artist , even for a Pop artist !

But 'Haunted' & 'Dear John' ***** on those songs tho. For real. Those two album tracks made the singles sounded like a B+ songs.

All of a sudden, I feel the need to tell you about "Never Grow Up' & 'Enchanted'. NGU was about moving out from your parents' house, first time living alone, unlike how you will assume from the title. Listen to those two too.

Enchanted to me is one of the best songs of all-time up there with such greats as Stairway to Heaven, American Pie, My Generation, and many others with that said I think she actually has two songs even better than Enchanted...

Yeah, when at the program 'Songs that could be singles' at morning radio show. lol.
Tbh, I'm really excited for album #4. She has entered the Joni Mitchell phase. A little bit faster than the most of artists. But it's a good thing tho.

Ever since my cousin Kate Middleton became a duchess, I've been more interested in my British roots. So I saw The Iron Lady. Now I know almost as much about the United Kingdom as I do about England.
If I've said it once, I've said it 18 times, Meryl Streep is brilliant as Margaret Thatcher. I said it would earn her an Oscar nomination and it did. I can't believe how unbelievably believable she was.
I don't know how she did it. Not only does she sound and act like Margaret Thatcher, Meryl also plays her across a few decades. I always knew she was good, but after watching this performance, I think she might be a witch.
Whenever someone asks me who should portray me in the movie of my life, I always say the same person -- Taylor Swift. We're practically the same person. But I'd also love to see Meryl Streep play me. She's so good with accents and physicality. Let me tell you, dancing up a flight of stairs isn't as easy as it looks.
She really is the greatest actress of our time, and this may be her best performance yet. I can't wait to see what happens on the big night!

I swear Ellen has a major crush on Taylor.

BINGO! I finally found the link that I've wanted to share with y'all before.
Go read this: http://mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=129008
It's a page from a forum where people discussing controversial Joni Mitchell's statement accusing Bob Dylan as a "plagiarist". And if you read it to the end and compare to the criticism Taylor gets, it's not so different after all.
People like to say Taylor's music as a simple & sounds alike, well, people there (much older than us, and definitely not Joni's target audience) accused Joni the same things. But at the end, Joni Mitchell ended up as one of the most influential female singer/songwriter of all time, along with Carole King & Carly Simon. As the trinity of women in rock from the late '60s - '70s. Opened the door for today's female artists, including Taylor.
And lately, I've been thinking that Taylor is actually pure Rock & Roll, rather than country. Yes she makes country, yes she makes pop. But she also makes pop-punk too! Which genre we should put her actually? And there were more guitars in her show than an actual rock concert!
Well the point is, classic rock acts have no 'home' genre. If you learn more about R&R Hall of Fame-r, you will see that may of the members transcended genres.
(Now I will stop before I go too far in trying to explain why she's a true rocker).
