Why because I don't consider you a real fan if you dump your fave for that reason. I mean Madonna stayed with Sean Penn. She received some backlash, but it never hurt her. Michael Jackson had fans after his accusations. Of course you're not going to agree with any and everything the girl does, but like I said, if anything I sympathize with her. Me being a domestic violence victim myself realize that it's complicated and your true friends/family/fans/etc will be there no matter what. You never know if you're standing on the outside looking in. She would need her fans the most. On the other side, I would see how it would piss off considering that most of her fans have stuck through with her through it all. I don't agree with Rihanna going back with Chris, if it were to happen... which I don't think it will actually, but she's 24 and she was in love. I know women way older than her who have gone back to their aggressors because they were in love. Those feelings don't just go away because he hit you. Like I said, it's complicated.
