I can't even believe some of the people in here. Posting those pictures in itself should be a good chunk of points, but no, it's a mod so it's all good, and he can shade and drag CB if he wants to. ANYWAYS. While obviously I don't agree with Chris's previous actions at all and will never be able to love him as an artist or person because of it, but I do believe that people don't realize that Chris realizes how massive the consequences of even considering replicating his horrific actions when associating with Rihanna again are. This time, he'd be in prison, he'd likely lose his career altogether, his reputation amongst the public and the music industry, in a heart beat, he'd become the general public's #1 enemy. Rihanna and Chris Brown are not just becoming adults like they were 3 years ago. If they think this is a good idea, then go ahead. I will be supporting Rihanna and will hope that Chris Brown realizes how much deeper in the hole he would be if he messed up this time around.
You guys are doing far too much on this matter.

And of all the songs she could have chosen to be their "were back together" single
she chooses the most sexual record on the album.
She will be crucified for this.
This is a PR nightmare.

It's really scary how some of them are acting like them making a song together means that they are actually back together though. Nothing has been confirmed and the meltdowns are really making some people come out of their font.

I'd genuinely be upset, but I wouldn't "revoke my card". If anything, being there before, I'd sympathize with her. It's hard being in love with an individual to have them hurt you like that. Those feelings don't just go away instantly. I genuinely think Ri needs help. I don't think she ever got the chance to properly heal so I never actually expected her to handle this situation as well as she did so far in the situation because it was such a public issue. She's only 23. I know women in there 40s who have been naive enough to go back to their aggressor. It's not as easy as it seems. If you're genuinely in love with a person it's amazing what that love will actually do. I do believe Chris is dangerous for her and she doesn't need to be in that situation, but me actually being a fan of Rihanna as a person too and realizing that no one really deserves that, it would make me worry for her well-being. If anything you would need a support system. She would need her real family, friends, and yes her real fans to shine through and be there for her.

Why are all y'all acting like this is such a terrible thing?
He did beat her, but that was 2 years ago. Just be happy she was able to get over it, and is now on friendly terms with her abuser. It doesn't say they're in a relationship, it just says they're doing a song together.
I for one am excited. Makes me love Rihanna even more. Love it when this bitch pushes envelopes

When you become a celebrity, your life is no longer a private affair. I don't necessarily like that myself, but it's the truth. The paparazzi have made it so that everyone who becomes even moderately famous will have every detail of their life chronicled. Even a trip to the store to buy groceries becomes important when a celebrity is the one making that trip.
What's the point of all of this, you may be asking? Well, Rihanna's life is not a private affair. By being a celebrity, you are subconsciously allowing your life to become as public and as scrutinized as possible. Her life and the events that occur in her life are made known to all of us, making us feel as if we are all a part of her lives, just as it would be with just about any other celebrity. It's not the same thing as actually knowing the person, but we FEEL like we know that person. Because of this, a lot of us were affected when Chris Brown beat up Rihanna, because we feel as if we have an open door into Rihanna's life (and Chris Brown's life as well), and a lot of us were outraged with Chris Brown's actions.
I get what you're trying to say and I understand what you're trying to argue. It's just that celebrities have privacy taken away from them when they become famous, and, because of this, their lives become a part of our lives. We may not actually be the participants involved, sure, but we feel close to celebrities because of what we know about them, even if we're really not. It shouldn't have affected us when Chris Brown beat up Rihanna...but it did.
Why say it over and over again? Because so many people try to either pretend that the incident didn't happen or try to forget that it ever happened. I don't like dwelling on the subject myself, but it's better than forgetting it ever happened.

You are entitle to your opinion YES but then your opinion wont be taken into consideration because you're nonexistent to HER LIFE

So all the "confirmation" we have now is that verified lady on Twitter, right?
I really do hope it turns out to be false. I would hate to see Rihanna's career suffer from this, because that's exactly what's going to happen. Daytime shows will point to her as being a "bad example," domestic violence groups and feminist organizations will denounce her (it'd be somewhat contradictory, but another topic for another day...), and all of the good will she gained from that incident would be lost. For a remix to a song that isn't even good to begin with, it's not worth it. DON'T DO IT RIHANNA.
