I guess that sounds better. I sometimes say "the guy with dark complexion?". I work retail and sometimes I have to ring sales through and I'm always stuck in the predicament when I have to ring up his sales.
And for some reason, a lot of people here say "the white guy?" and it doesn't sound racist. But saying "the black guy?" sounds a little... off putting.
But since majority of the members here are black, I would rather take their advice: just say black since they do not feel offended.
