If Wikipedia articles were a measurement of success, anybody could go wild creating new articles for an artist in every language possible. It's not a valid measurement of success. That you are weighing it so heavily simply shows that you have little statistical information to fall back on.
Rihanna has been highly successful with a string of chart topping hits. I doubt her and her record label are fretting about how they can up their wikipedia entry count.
