Born This Way - A Mega Smash Hit - Some loves it and some dont
Government Hooker - Amazing Song, Almost Everyone loves it
Judas - Despite the controversy, the instrumental ***** and Also the song is amazing
Americano - Well Not Bad
Hair - Everyone loves it
Scheiße - Everyone Love it
Bloody Mary - Amazing Song and Amazing Lyrics + The instrumental *****
Black Jesus - Amen Fashion - Nah
Bad Kids - Despite the Chorus the song is good

Can I know now why people are overreacting ?? F**K the mistakes she did Ex. TEOG video. But people cant deny that she created an amazing solid album with amazing songs.

@UAE, I'm pretty sure most of the backlash comes from the way the album was mishandled. I've always thought that it's a very solid, good album that people largely think is bad because Gaga made very bad single choices and below par videos.

How does Born This Way (the song) manage to stay so fresh? Every time I listen to it it's like the first time again. Well, maybe not the first, but, like, the fourth.

That's what makes it amazing. BTW is the album I listen to the most out of Gaga's discography. Something about it is so fresh that you can listen to it everytime wanting more.

Nevertheless, the BTW era was her era she had the opportunity of a life time to create what she wants to create and to do. It's rare to find a label that is welling to give the artist 100% freedom. Commercially the album did amazing 5.6M albums sold and 8M shipped + been certified +30xPlatinum around the world + Diamond in Taiwan + reached #1 in over 27 countires (Even more than Adele's Masterpeace 21). Yet people would say It a Flopped

The backlash isn't primarily from how the era was handled, the general public doesn't care (or even know) about stuff like that. It comes from the fact that the music wasn't as good. She acted like she made this Godly album when it was really just messy lyrics, no melodies or hooks, and cheap production. As a result, it never clicked with the public.
She'll probably have a new single out in September and it'll likely be a huge, radio friendly club banger.

Yes, messy lyrics. Nothing on this record showcases her writing abilities. Give me some examples that prove me wrong.
Yes, lacking melodies and hooks. You are not gonna tell me that songs like "Born This Way" and "Marry The Night" are even comparable to songs like "Paparazzi" or "Bad Romance". There are obviously a few exceptions (Heavy Metal Lover, Schiebe, Bloody Mary, and TEOG) but the other 10 songs on the record are just weak.
And the production on most of the songs is amateur. You don't get a crisp feel like you did with songs like "Paparazzi", "Bad Romance", "Alejandro", or any of the first 3 singles from TF. Alot of it sounds like it was recorded on a bus or something.
And lastly, I think it speaks volumes that most of the album sales come from the first month. The fact that it sold 3 million in the first month (due to her fans / hype from previous era) and only 2 million in the following 8 months with tons and tons of promo, videos, and single releases....I mean....
Have no doubt, this era was a success. 5.5 million albums sold is a big deal but the damage that it has caused will be seen next era. Even if the next era spawns many hit singles and whatnot, it's gonna be alot harder for her to sell 5-6 million again because she won't have the hype going in and she won't have the massive first few weeks like she did this time.
