Rihanna was talking about the re-release in early December 2010, so this was probably planned before Firework even went #1 on Billboard, her label obviously wants to increase album sales, they're looking for 3X Platinum status unless her label are fortune tellers and knew she was going to get 5 #1's before the rerelease
