Great idea, and you could spam the HWR employee's twitter too. /https://twitter.com/#!/JustChachi/
but Gabeed did this very clever, bec if many ask give he, than he used give blocks..

Also, I don't think Sel cares about this era anymore. She's "taking a break" from music. She'll be filming movies and launching her perfume. I don't expect her to do any promo/performances for Hit The Lights.
The only thing that can save that song is getting an adds date. It would probably go top 20 on Pop at the very least and peak with over 20A.I, and with the airplay HTL will rise on iTunes and probably peak inside the top 40 on BB.

Either way, you have artists selling millions of singles but it's not reflected in album sales. Kelly Rowland (Motivation), Chris Brown (Look at me now 3million), Usher (Dj got us falling in love 3million), etc, who didn't even go gold or platinum. I'm just saying if Rihanna goes platinum by selling what? 6 -7 million singles of an album then we can't expect Selena (much less famous) to go platinum selling 2 or 3 million.

I think it might have something to do with VEVO.
I think they are trying to make money that way now.
Like AYWR wasn't send for adds, but it had 100,000,000 views which is a 7,000,000 dollars check! Maybe they figured HTL would too and they wouldn't even have to spend money promoting it.
HWR is working closer with VEVO now, trying to make that money. Take for example filming Demi's shows.
|
Then they should use some of the money that Love Song made from the video and invest it into an adds date for HTL and some payola.
I'm sure they'll make it back with HTL, it would go over 100 million views with radio support.

Yeah, if too many ask him he'll just block. Just ask one time, nicely. Anyway, I've asked him like three times already if HTL was going for adds and he said it would. I believe him cause I asked him about GYHAB, he said it was going for adds and it eventually did. Maybe they're just waiting for LYLALS to fall off top 50 like Who Says.

But Selena has ALWAYS sold albums regardless of singles performance. See: Kiss & Tell before Naturally (& even now) & AYWR.
That's why her #'s right now are less than impressive.

Yeah Selena is DEFINITELY over this era, you can tell. But as you said, HR should at least send it for adds.

Hope so @Gabe Ed.
But again they **** up her chances of getting a top 20 hit by sending the **** late to radio.
HTL will be around 300K then. Ugh.

So, i see, that he didnt lie, so i trust in his words, but this waiting killed the chance to go LYLALS in the TOP20 on BB100... they waited for a months, after WS was starting dying on POP.... so now they will wait till March to fall of out top50 on POP again....
This is the most stupid steps by a record company.

So it's settled then, February 8th we're spamming @PopHollywood to get an answer on whether or not HTL will be getting an adds date. Spread the word.
We should also offer them suggestions, since they're ridiculously slow, I say March 6th or March 13th?

Well that's it exactly! So we can't expect LYLALS to do much for album sales because with a hit single (Naturally) and without one (AYWR) she sold about the same.
I wish we had album numbers for week 30 of all the albums.

Horrible idea. I hate that they do it. I remember them announcing Love Song's adds date a week after Who Says fell out of the top 50 and Who Says started dying in June and didn't fall out of the top 50 until August. Now imagine Love Song. It won't be out for MONTHS.

I know. She's done. The minute she's done filming she'll be in the studio working on a new album.

They kept telling us to "calm down", and that it will go out for adds and that we have to wait. They told me that they have to wait for WS to go out of rotation, etc etc.
And then they started blocking us.

If they do that then they literally deserve the award for Worst Record Label in Music History.
