Well, the entire universe started at a very hot, dense state. Very, very small.
Now, say that this... dense state... was practically ready to expand to be a larger (and not that dense) state...
I'm not a scientist, and I'm not by best in Science, but that's the start of my understanding of it.
It exploded. All of the density that once was this very small, hot speck expanded, and spread out. After time, the gas clouds and dust all began to settle, cool and slow down. Planets, galaxies, etc all formed, and were (are) still moving apart, at an increasingly slowing pace.
Now, where did God come from?
