Agree, although I'm waiting to see album #4.
I wonder what it'll sound like.
I think in 2013, it may come for her to dominate. It's got the #13.
Hmm, anyone want to guess what the album cover could look like?
I'm guessing it will have her straight hair, and may be black and white.

How very Adele of her. Will Tay Tay’s next album be the country-pop equivalent of 21?

Uh, I don't want it to be her '21'. I prefer it to ber her "HELP" (transition album of The Beatles, see? Even Fab Four released bunch of 'teeny-boppers' songs!). '21' was more like 'Tapestry', and I don't want Taylor to be some kind of one-album wonder (God forbid). To be honest, I can't wait for her 'Rubber Soul'
And talking about subject matter, I don't care who is it about. I only care about the songs, the album, the music. Another reason why I hate stupid gossip sites.

I also expect a 2013 domination; she'll embark on her biggest world tour yet!
I want her to pose with her guitar on the album cover; black and white would be okay.

One could argue that Taylor already is a one-album wonder; Fearless. Although both of her other albums have been incredibly successful and of superb quality, Fearless is her "signature album." Releasing a 21-esque album wouldn't necessarily hurt that badly.
Something that I really love about Taylor is that even though we know the stories/ guys behind a lot of her songs, that never overshadows the song itself. When I listen to Enchanted, I'm not thinking about Adam Young, or John Mayer when Dear John is on. Alternatively, the personal details of Gaga's You & I make the song unbearable for me because all I can think about is how much I dislike Luc. Taylor maintains a steady balance of giving enough, but not too much.

2013 could be the 'big transition' year for her.
Guess the Cover?
Um, B&W would be nice, or full painting like MBDTF or Bon Iver. Oh, better if it's like Highway 61 Revisited.

It's still an amazing song. I just wish Back To December and Sparks Fly had smashed more.

You mean these? Haha, joking.
I like your idea a lot. Would be something different for her lyrically.

True. That's what I'm afraid of. Lefsetz said it many times that 'Fearless' was her 'Tapestry'. But I always distract myself by thinking that 'Tapestry' was an album with adult theme, while 'Fearless' was closer to 'Please Please Me' or 'A Hard Day's Night'. And '21' was the one with full 'Tapestry' feel.
I used to like Gaga, I thought she's great cause she wasn't afraid to do what she wanted to do. But now, it's more like she's trying to surprise people only. Maybe it's just me, but that's what I feel when I'm listening to TFM & BTW.

I was going to say, I'd like black and white as long it doesn't look too Adele.

If anyone forgot, there were 12 y.o & chaperones that filled the arena in every Beatles show that at one point they had to canceled the entire tour cause of the shrieking, pre-Rubber Soul era.

I hope she'll be able to hit top 3 this time. #1 female with Speak Now.

Regarding Gaga, lately it seems to me that she has 2 main problems...
1. She's trying to be everything at once and she's overloading herself.
2. She comes up with great ideas but isn't good at executing them effectively, leading everything to come off feeling sloppy and rushed.
I actually think something Taylor said in the Vogue article applies to Gaga quite well...
Quote:
The stakes are really high if you mess up, if you slack off and don’t make a good record, if you make mistakes based on the idea that you are larger than life and you can just coast.” She pauses. “If you start thinking you’ve got it down, that’s when you run into trouble—either by getting complacent or becoming mouthy.” She laughs. “And nobody likes that.”

Wow, didn't know. Thanks. I wonder how much the album will sell first-week.
If there prediction is correct. Are we looking at a 1.2 million first week?

+1 Fearless is her signature album that propelled her to mainstream. I think so too, it may be really successful.
I definitely think about my first love when Enchanted is on but not Dear John. It's probably because it's got the name in it whilst Enchanted is universal.

It depends on who else is touring, and when they're touring.
A lot of "legend" artists who can charge massive ticket fees are releasing albums this year; Madonna, Cher, Springsteen... It depends on if their tours continue into 2013 or not. Gaga's tour will certainly run into 2013, and she's up there with Taylor as one of the highest-grossing tours among the "current generation" artists.

Definitely, it's over exposure.
I mean, someone like Katy and Adele are ruling the charts but I rarely see them trying to expose themselves.

I forgot about Madonna and Bruce. But the tour is 2013 so let's wait and see.
