RELEASE DATE: 5 April 2011 BEST PART: The entire song
Nicki Minaj debuts in the Top 10 with the most eargasmic and I'm-so-good-if-I-can-sing-it song of 2011. Thanks to Taylor Swift, I discovered "Super Bass" which became a favorite jam of mine for months. The rap parts are extremely catchy and fun to sing along with. The chorus and hooks are extremely infectious and repetitive. More of these hits, Nicki.

RIHANNA
"S&M"
RELEASE DATE: 21 January 2011 BEST PART: The bridge and the seducing vocals
Rihanna makes her final appearance on the list with a very explicit and erotic song off "Loud". S&M has been one of my guilty pleasures since January 2011 for its infectious beats, sexy lyrics and seducing vocals. Re-releasing this with Britney might seem good for others but I prefer Rihanna singing and owning this awesome hit alone.

KATY PERRY
"THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY"
RELEASE DATE: 5 October 2011 BEST PART: The sadness + the video + the entire song!
Katy Perry returns to the Top 5 ("Thinking Of You" placed at #5 last 2009) with very melancholic and heartbreaking pop song off "Teenage Dream". This song failed to hit #1 on the Billboard charts but I believe this song is much superior and better than the previous single from Teenage Dream. So far, I would say that this is my favorite Katy Perry song. Oh well, the remix with B.o.B sounds bad though. The rap verses were just unnecessary.
