But their fail came when subliminally comparing a film to a song
Especially when Madonna isn't even qualified for a nomination for that category..

I find it very difficult to root for Elton. I should say the same of Madonna since she's just as catty as Elton, but for some reason I'm willing to give her a free pass to act like a bitch whenever she pleases. The world just feels "right" when she's saying or doing something to ruffle feathers.
Who knew Madonna would get the whole world talking about her again? Then again, it is Madonna. And it's only going to get bigger with the Superbowl and album release. Werk

I agree. Both Elton and Madonna are very egotistical and narcissistic. He was going on and on about how amazing his song was and how much his film grossed in the box office. She was just doing the same for her movie. If anything this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
