True, but songs like Irreplaceable work because of their vocal simplicity. I'm just pointing out Bey's ability to go from pop to RnB to rock to classical to jazz to electronic with relative ease. Her control allows her to do that regardless of whether or not her voice is naturally 'bombastic'.

I agree completely. She just occasionally has a tendency to oversing things. But she definitely has the capability.
Her voice is still dark and heavy though that doesn't always translate well to other genres.
I notice in many of Beyonce song's her voice is almost always dark & heavy. She is able to cross a few genres, however her weakness is manipulating her voice.
