Madonna got a lot of negative press lately as well, people won't just jump on the anti-Gaga bandwagon that easily.

People already ARE in the anti-Gaga bandwagon, and that's why the fact more rip-off talk dominating the headlines isn't helping her cause.

Plus, she was trying to hide from the limelight right now and regain some anticipation/momentum. Madonna throwing her name out there kind of rendered this "break" pointless.
