What do I have to say? Everyone sold more copies during the holidays. It's normal.
Adele has a successful album and successful singles, of course she had a major boost.
My only point was that people discredited increase in sales due to Christmas, but regardless, no-one can deny that sales are sales.
It's not a definition, it's just my interpretation of what makes an album good. But if you just judge it by how each of the tracks sound individually, you might as well say that a Greatest Hits album is the best of an artist's career...
Am I the only one who stanned for the mole? It was like its own little mini-era...
So much of the early era was about playing with classical conventions of beauty and the grotesque. A mole is prized (see: Marilyn, Cindy Crawford) so Gaga added her own, but it sometimes had a box around it, sometimes it was heart-shaped, and sometimes it ate half her face. It was awesome.
