I feel like people underestimate the internet community though. Most stans will legally buy an album or at least influence people into buying one. Before the stan wars of 2008 erupted, someone like Ciara would never flop or even underperform on the charts. A top 20 single would have been easy as baking a cake, because for one, the radio was supporting ALL of our girls, and not certain ones and not others. Now, with everyone arguing about whose fave is better and how much this person is gonna sell, the casual fans are just saying **** it and not buying albums or singles over petty **** like a stanfight. Its not only Ciara either, it can be seen in Beyonce, Rihanna, Kerry, Britney, and Gagas situations. I know I speak for a lot of people when I say I only legally bought Beyonces album, and no one elses.
But like we also said, the GENERAL PUBLIC non stans follow what we follow. And since Adele had no haters she blew up, the public latched on and BAM! the bitch sold 5 million US and 15 worldwide. Katy (before her major success) has no haters, no watch her next era not even come close to TD. I feel like this is a perfect time for Ciara to make a comeback with a clear slate, and she needs to steer clear of messy people like Wendy Williams and do shows like Ellen and the late night circuit.
