Lady Gaga has said several times that “Marry The Night” is her favorite song off Born This Way — something evident by the fact that the single received an extremely personal 13-minute promotional video. Yet despite several high profile performances, Gaga’s jam just can’t seem to crack the upper reaches of the iTunes Top Songs chart.

One reason could be that this is the first time Lady Gaga has released five singles off one album, and, at this point, fans of the singer likely already own Born This Way as a whole. (Hence Gaga Daily hinting that monsters can buy the download for a friend if they already own the song themselves.)

I guess.. but it never occured to me. It never once stood out to me as a song that would perform well as a single. It's no fun at all and it's just too long and depressing.

Considering the song's consistency and stability, the end of the freeze will bring the downfall of many songs that had been frozen on the iTunes charts since around Thanksgiving.

It means it could help the song rise.

I don't know what's worse, everyone being concerned about Gaga's 5th single or Gaga's 5th not being concerned with you all. Either way, it's almost criminal.
