There are some very talented pop artists but no Nicki Minaj, no Bieber, or anyone who has a sound that isn't really Tayish lol another Colbie Caillet collaboration would kill though

Yes, I loved Breathe!
I wouldn't mind if the songs sounded good and became popular. I think if she collaborated with Nicki, she would sing the chorus. I always wanted to hear her being featured in a rap chorus.
Sorry if you guys want feel strongly against this.

THIS. You said it best!
Another Colbie Caillat would be great. Or a collab with Bon Iver? Kanye West? Bob Dylan? Dave Grohl? If these (and other) my dream collabs of her, I'd die of happiness.

Kanye West ain't gonna happen lol I loved the old Kanye but his last two albums haven't done well. I liked some of the songs on 808's but MBDTF I hated so much the only song I really liked was AOTL. Now even taking my opinion about Kanye out of the way she ain't gonna collaborate with him because of the incident or its probably more he won't collaborate with her but either way its not gonna happen.
Now I'd love a collaboration with Bob Dylan or Dave Grohl. I was just listening to Wasting Light yesterday and its easily deserving of the AOTY nomination at the Grammys. I'd also love a collaboration with Keith Urban or Kenny Chesney but it'd probably be a step back lyrically since many of there songs make you think these guys are young teenagers but there songwriting skills are also very good anyway its just they like to talk about the past alot

But who knows, the supposed song on Bieber's album could be popular digitally since he doesn't have a lot of support from radio. It might boost some interest into her again.

Keyword: Digital. Anything that is well known only on the internet, rarely made it in the long run.
And to be honest, I don't care how well her music does on the chart, or how 'popular' she is. I've always been about quality-over-quantity.

This!!!!! I've always been the same but I want the quality music to sell good to. It always makes me sad to see artists with so much talent end up flopping while artists with no artistic integrity get rich with no effort. That's why I like Taylor so much she has talent and sells albums.

It was mentioned on Pulse. It popped up in some songwriting database.
Basically still a rumor.

Already happened in my dream. But yeah, that's a shame. Taylor & Kanye really are genius when it comes to music. MBDTF was okay imo, but not the second-coming like how Pitchfork wanted you to believe (I hate Pitchfork as much as I love it)
Dave Grohl has always been amazing since his hey-day with Nirvana. #2 best rocker in my list, after Trent Reznor (N.I.N) only. Keith Urban is not bad, but nowhere near 'GOOD'. Eh, Kenny did write his songs? I've always thought that he's just a copy of Tim McGraw anyway.

The fun songs yes. the really deep songs like The good stuff or There goes my Life no. Now he did write Take me There for Rascal Flatts and a great song for David Nail I think its called Turning Home. He also wrote I'm alive his duet with Dave Mathews so he does have some songwriting talent. Keith however does have some really good material most of it is from his early career but his last cd for the most part was BLAH. As far as Tim Mcgraw is concerned he doesn't write any of his music the only song I know he wrote was with Def Leopard that Nine Lives song they did lol but I like his emotion he is great at making you feel the music.

Not naming names. Shame that the most active chart in Billboard (Hot 100) is a reflection that bad music sells, it's still money & fame over the music itself.
Taylor is probably the only popular artist from our generation that I like. Most of faves are really not well-known by the public. and always get the ' (name) who?' question.
Also, in my circle, Taylor is also very well respected. We, as alt. music fans, know good music when we listen to it. And Taylor is good, still has a shot to be great tho, she hasn't showed a lot of growth with her recent works. But if "Safe & Sound" is any indication, then the best is yet to come.

I just knew this about Kenny. with Keith, no comment, never really listen to Keith's music btw.
I don't really follow country actually, mainstream country do nothing for me. More into the bluegrass, alt.country. Btw, do you read that Saving Country Music blog? He really recommends great country albums.

I don't think I've read any blogs lol but I do try to check out different kinds of music. Right now I've been listening to some David Nail . David Nail has a very different sound it isn't mainstream even though he is trying to make it big. His songs are exceptionally well-written I'd say you should check him out if you haven't already.

He was one of Taylor's opening acts right? Bought his album but haven't listened to it. Taylor has a great taste in music. So I checked him out and bought it without thinking a second. Now with you saying he's good, I believe he really is good. Thanks for the recommendation btw.
EDIT: If y'all interested with K-Pop, you need to check Wonder Girls out, listen to their latest album "Wonder World". It's good. Even tho I don't understand the lyrics at all, but I really like it. I've never listened to Asian music a lot, as I've always though that K-Pop is anything but crap. But I feel lucky when I discovered those girls, they actually use the talent that they got from years of training. Just check them out if you have time.

Yall have been BUSY today!!
First things first, welcome @ Taylor Swift!!
Second of all, I really want the next album to open 1,000,000+ again; realistically, I doubt Taylor would open with less than 750,000. If she gets the same critical success and media hype Speak Now got, she could pass the million. Especially if she has a Love Story scale smash hit lead single.
As for collaborations, Shania Twain will forever and always be #1 on my wishlist. Aside from that, I'm cool with pretty much any rapper (I'd prefer TI or Minaj), pop artist (not Katy/ Kesha/ Bieber), country (I'd prefer Kenny, Keith, Tim, Faith, Reba, Martina or Hunter Hayes) or rock. I'd also love love love to see her do a "legendary" collab like James Taylor or Bruce Springsteen.

i would love her to do collaborations....and with male singers....so i'd like luke bryan or jason aldean...but shaina twain anyday...!!

also she needs to put on her worldwide-promo-schedule: Promote the album international, North&South America, Europe, Asia, & Australia. I will hunt her people if they stop to promote it right after the release.

I was really mad when I read about if for the first time, and still.
the last thing that I want to hear is her being associated with pop acts.
