Bold = can be considered polarizing. That word is the new "delusional" around here.
It's because of the ponytail. We all know Madonna invented the ponytail.
I always consider polarising to be something that is controversial and is designed to split the crowd. Something that you know for a fact some will love and some will hate.
I guess anything that is more than walking and singing = polarizing?

That's everything, though.
Do you mean a CIN-type performance that is singing and dancing? But even the FLAWLESS CIN performance was panned by several so-called "fans".
1. Staying hidden behind Christmas trees
2. You and I/Black Prayer
3. Madonna Give It 2 Me outfit, or Madonna ponytail
4. On the moon for 4 minutes
5. TEOG bob
But who is going to be more surprised? The people, or Gaga

No, I mean designed to be hated and loved at the same time. CIN was not polarising. There is nothing controversial about singing and dancing. MTV EMAs was not polarising. Nothing controversial about sitting on the moon. XFUK was polarising. Singing in a confessional box then becoming a headless woman is fairly controversial on primetime TV...

I really don't think she intentionally designs anything like that, though. She just puts a theme to her performances most of the time. I have a feeling she'll do something theme-y tonight. I want her to sing while walking down Times Square while cars blow up in the background.

She must know, however, that if she sings headless she is going to put certain people off. Which is why I hope tonight she does something that everyone can enjoy. After all; it's NYE and all people want to do is dance, sing and have a good time
