Like what in the actual **** lol
Like its funny to see people posting about how they never have bought a Kelly cd till now, but I kind of feel like this CD has so much more to it then political standards to it that some people are just not getting it. Take "You Love Me" for example. If you are buying the CD I hope you realize the flawlessness of the actual cd rather then just supporting it because of the political war.

Exactly, that's what upsets me a little, people are buying the album because of the politics instead of praising it, I hope the buyers really listen to the album and become real fans, because her music is AMAZING!

Im all for sales but what sucks is they're associating her new cd with being a Ron Paul. they'll be using wdky song as their theme song before u know it. look up any social page right now & all they say is rp revolution. its their avenue to spread their campaign & unfortunately for Kelly, in their eyes she's apart of it.
But each to their own. Her name is back out there, whether it be a pro or negative effect.

The Billboard 200:
While in terms of sales volume, it was the busiest week of the year (15.11 million albums sold), the Billboard 200 lacked many new entries on the tally. Michael Buble's "Christmas" album spent what will likely be its fifth and final week at No. 1, while only two debuts dotted the entire 200 position chart.
-- Common: Two hip-hop stars own the lone two debuts on the Billboard 200 this week as Young Jeezy's "T M: 103 Hustlerz Ambition" bows at No. 3 with 233,000 and Common's "The Dreamer, the Believer" starts at No. 18 with 69,000. It's not unusual that there would be few new albums arriving to market at this time of year, as most major releases have dropped by Thanksgiving. The next big album due out is likely Prince Royce's self-titled set, which hits stores on Jan. 3. We should see January piled high with a number of developing artists looking to make headway on the chart during its normal post-Christmas slump.
-- VH1 Divas: The ladies of "VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul" also party it up on the Billboard 200 as a few of the Dec. 10 TV show's performers see some big spikes on the tally. Within the top 50, Mary J. Blige's "My Life II" rises 26-19 (69,000; up 75%), Florence + the Machine's "Ceremonials" climbs 38-20 (63,000; up 101%) and Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" bullets 44-39 (41,000; up 50%).
-- The Beatles: The single largest percentage gain on the chart belongs to the Beatles' "1" greatest hits album, as it flies 177-72 with a 215% gain (selling 23,000 copies). It was the focus of a splashy front-of-store promotion in the iTunes Store last week. Naturally, its download sales went through the roof as well, as 64% of its overall total were digital purchases. (Its download sales were 14,000 -- up a mighty 706% compared to the week previous.)
-- Metallica, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, the Roots: On the entire Billboard 200 chart, only three non-holiday albums post declines this week -- Metallica's "Beyond Magnetic" EP (32-187; down 75%), Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa's "Mac & Devin Go to High School" soundtrack (29-86; down 48%) and the Roots' "Undun" (70-95; down 4%). It's normal for Christmas albums to drop down the tally as the season comes to a close, while Metallica, the Snoop/Wiz joint effort and the Roots all fall because they are only a few weeks old on the tally (thus a natural post-debut collapse was expected). However, watch for the "Mac & Devin" set to perhaps return to the upper regions of the chart in the next few weeks, once the glut of Christmas albums have retreated from the tally, making room for non-holiday sets to stabilize on the chart.

Also, I was reading the comments on the Ron Paul site and saw this...

A few of the comments say they're gonna buy the physical copies too. Let's see if this can keep the increase from the Divas show steady
HDD is predicting Florence's album to soar back to the top 10. Hopefully Kelly can get an increase that big.

I really hope Stronger doesn't become the Ron Paul campaign soundtrack lol. But for now this is just keeping her name out there and sales up until WDKY comes and slays the world and people lose interest in this
What's with the predicted increase in Florence's album? Did she perform at something big recently?

I know people will be like oh the Republicans bought Kelly's album blah, blah...
Who do you think buys country albums? Mostly republicans. I don't see the media or other people going after them for that? Who cares? A sale is a sale.
I hope it gets a nice increase. Yes, from this incident, but also because the album was on sale, itunes banner, and gift cards people received over the holidays (itunes, amazon, wal-mart, target, etc).

Perhaps she can parlay her newfound "fanbase" and release Breaking Your Own Heart to country

Her name will be dragged again as the time of election draws near. Trust me, RCA will never get away this kind of opportunity to promote Kelly's album.
RCA get that opportunity and Michelle's record label too should learn something from this!

Well the album has already been certified Gold. It's at 426k right now. She's 74k away. I don't know if she can reach that? If not, the good news is she will be there soon

I've been trying to figure that out myself.
The only thing I could find was that her album was discounted to 6.99 on iTunes and that she opened Harrod's winter sales in the UK. But I don't see how that would help US sales. lol.

The Building Chart reflects the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan's tracking week (which ends Sunday) as reported by six major merchants: iTunes, Trans World Entertainment, Best Buy, Starbucks, Target and Anderson Merchandisers. Billboard estimates that they make up about 85% of all U.S. album sales.
