I try so hard not to complain about Britney b/c I'm just glad to still have her around.....but I feel that sympathy starting to slowly fade away.

It's because we KNOW she can do better than what she's doing now and that she's not making enough of an effort. I still can't get over those leaked dance rehearsals.
Like I said before, Britney Spears is basically the Julia Roberts of the music industry in terms of how the general public views her. She started out very young and has always been very relatable to the masses because she's always had the "girl next door" image and was always sweet and has never said a bad thing about anyone. She will always have the general public in her corner.
