FF Britney is the closest she's been to Old Britney in years. Circus Britney was dead in the eyes and lifeless.

Britney's been more "on" with Femme Fatale then she was in Circus. I will contend that Britney was more expressive during the Circus era in terms of facial expressions (towards the end of the tour). However in terms of movement, dancing and overall physicality in her performances Britney has done more for Femme Fatale then she has in years. UND, HIAM and the TFM performances are the best physical performances/routines she has had since 2007 in terms of staging and dancing. Circus was just a lot of standing around and pacing. At least in a few of Britney's songs she has routines now even if the choreography is lackluster and leaves much to be desired.

For once we agree. Even though I think her dancing (only her dancing though) was better on the 'Femme Fatale' tour.

The dancing is what most people complained about before though so not a bad thing overall.

Britney's breakdown has fascinated me: she used to be my favourite long before Gaga and Rihanna were around. In the first 2 -4 years of her career the media and public loved her so much - unfortunately often in the media world what goes up must come down. They began using the Justin Timberlake breakup as probably the first real bit of negative
press she really had. And it slowly spiralled down from there. Media will often influence the public's opinion. Britney seems like a very naive woman so it must have been really tough for her that the same media who built her up as a megastar, was then tearing her down. That's what lead to K Fed, Paris and Lindsay and eventually she finally went really crazy in 2007. That's my take on it.

Britney has made the best and worst performances of VMA history (2001's I'm A Slave 4 U and 2007's Gimme More performances respectively), isn't she awesome? :P

The performance wasn't that bad, but I saw the rehearsal video and she was good.

It was a complete mess. Britney Spears used to be a stellar performer. This **** was unacceptable. I wasn't here for it at all.

I honestly loved this performance. I just remembered being so ****ing excited waiting for it to come on. It literally felt like Christmas to me. I was not dissapointed at all. She looked hott, and a good time !! I will never forget this performance.

The 2000 Satisfaction/Oops **** all over the 2001 Slave performance. I will never understand why fans get their panties moist over Britney lip syncing while walking with a snake.

It was a good performance. Her make-up, hair and weight was the bigger issue, which is sad.

It was hypnotizing because we where expecting magic but instead we got something you'd likely see in a hole-in wall strip club. She looked intoxicated or medicated. At least now her performances arent PUI.

i felt so sad for her. the shade being thrown everywhere that night...yikes.
