I don't understand how a website or another person can 'cause you to dislike another artist. Are you that desperate to be different from everyone else or are y'all mad that they're getting more attention than your fave.
I seriously don't get it when a person says that. Can any of you explain this for me?
Well for example, someone might be a huge fan of Beyoncé, and just a fan of Rihanna. They get on ATRL as part of the Beyhive and find themselves in so many stanwars with the Navy, dragging Rihanna up and down SYG in order to defend Beyoncé that the stop enjoying Rihanna and her music.
Or someone who enjoyed Katy Perry. They get on ATRL and start hearing about all the discounts and remixes and general shady business, stuff that they wouldn't have heard about if it weren't for ATRL. Given Katy's talent level and the fact that they never stanned for her in the first place, it's likely that the person will slowly stop enjoying her.

None, in fact ATRL has turned me on to artists/songs that I wouldn't have really listened to.
ATRL is where some stan-bases flock, so I expected the obsessed over-exposing behavior of some of the more dedicated fans. But that's the fun part about this forum: the messy threads, the stan-wars, the gifs. As they say about the kitchen and heat.

Nothing, I can't take much on here seriously and thus I don't really let it affect me that much. That includes Lana stans, I mean people cannot seriously be stanning for her after what, a couple of songs and two videos (if that?).
Lana fans are annoying, but they aren't and will never be the reason I haven't warmed up to her yet. I would like to hear a whole album of hers before I have a change of opinion about her.
I dislike them cause I don't like their music/personality, not the stans.
