When you have a single that it's very sucessful, maybe go to #1 or well at least Top 20 let's say. And then the next singles well, don't do great.. And flop.. And they still trying but they will just be remembered by their only REAL hit

I think Billboard's definition of a one-hit wonder is something like, the artist has one single that becomes huge and reaches Top 10, and then no further single reaches the Top 25.

I guess by that definition Vanessa Carlton is one. Shame because her music is great
