I don't think she should release an EP, people already start to get tired of her. Early/ middle 2013 is the perfect time for a new album, after the tour is over IMO. A killer club banger as the lead single + a more likeable image = Gaga's dominance again.

But if she disappears for a year and a half on the back of a flop, people won't miss her. There are enough Katy Perrys and Rihannas to satisfy the need of the public of commercial music. She needs to be missed.

An EP next year would be overkill. Especially if Gaga does release something radio friendlier, then she'll be everywhere. Her image is already a presence, adding her to radio presence with an EP so soon would be too much. She might as well just release a full length album in 2013.Let Born This Way play out. Who cares if it is dying? You're all going to the Ball anyway, and that is what's most importanc.
But she has been talking about her upcoming album lately...which has me thinking it will be released next year. I hope not. The longevity of The Fame Monster, with or without the EP, was more raw. This is one album that will not die. If Born This Way isn't going to do it, don't kill the album's message by releasing a commercial EP just for hits.
