It's not even the song in itself. Only some parts of the lyrics and the title. Like A Prayer didn't hit that hard, though the video was even more controversial (but back then there was no Internet and maybe the music video didn't have the relevance it has today). But you can see that the LAP album sold basically half of what True Blue and Like A Virgin did.

That's simply untrue. Ratings and album sales show that. It's just people don't want dance music, they want the pop sound that producers like Dr. Luke create.

Because they and also me know it could've done even twice as good without one underperforming single. It might not even had to be other singles except Judas. They should've just treated them differently.

And because of Adele. Without her Gaga would've slayed everyone.

That's true. It would have been the best-selling album WW.

But I'm not pressed at her, honestly. She's slaying in such an incredible way that no-one will bash Gaga for not being able to outsell her.

I always imagine without Adele, those who bought her albums, even only 10% of them would have bought gaga's, it will be 1.3mil WW already.

My taste...and clearly the taste of many people, judging from it's pathetic chart performance.

It's a weak, lazy song in comparison to her others. The only thing I like about it is the production, especially the intro(which is ruined by her singing over it).
