Marcus is way more talented than Jason Derulo. And besides, if he does get signed I don't see him going the pop route anyways.

MTV's Jim Cantiello hosts the pre-show and he's really popular with the Idol-heads. I hope he gets the job.

I would say Nicole will be replaced with Kelly Rowland but I don't think she's interested in doing the show in any country.

Marcus is talented, and was actually one of my favorites early on. But he's not unique, and his lane is occupied on both the pop side (Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, etc) and the R&B side (Usher, Ne-Yo, etc). I just don't see it for him.

I think the judge replacement[s] has to/have to be on the level of The Voice's panel. There needs to be one either currently BIG or formerly BIG artist there.

I would love it if it were Simon and three CURRENT performers, a la this year's X-Factor panel.
