This reminds me of when a little monster called a radio station requested Marry The Night and the DJ said no. He read him downE!!! and had a horde of other people spam their facebook link. I kind of feel like the DJ's get a bit high up on their horse and get a power trip because they are the DJ's.
We should have a Payola Donation Day. Monsters from all over the world can mail me $1.99 on a specific day. I can then mail the donation money to Interscope, who can use the money for Payola, which in turn will boost MTN on radios. I'm telling you bad kids, this is the way to go
Gwarl they did that for an unreleased song for Burim and we ended up getting an extended snippet. Not here for that ****!
Edit: and you'll be damned if I give you any money
I still stand by the fact that Interscope didn't release the video until late and hasn't done major promotion because they wanted to see what the song could do on its own.
/shrug.
Clearly, they are trying different strategies to see if they work.
They did different strategies for each single if you think about it.
They released Judas...and after it showed signs of flopping, they rushed TEOG. Then, they did what they would normally do, but then the video killed the song. So then they waited a long while to release YAI, and they released the video at the time of the single. Then they pushed it as much as possible with a **** ton of promo (which didn't do as much as we'd like).
So then they let YAI run its course and released MTN much later than some people thought they should have. Now they shot out the video in between their normal time and the initial single release (which think about it, MTN would have died if it weren't for the video, though it didn't do too much for it either) Now they want to see if the song can at least keep a float without much promo so that they can adjust accordingly.
I think they're not entirely sure what the best option is to promote the material on BTW. I think that's the problem with the era, not the music itself.
they'd fire us for making Adele flop and we would get sued by XL records and Def Jam and whoever KP's label is. We'd be having a group lawsuit against us.

All them monsters are gonna sue you into bankruptcy and put you into jail for 10,000 years if MTN doesn't hit top 10 on Billboard Hot 100.
