I think we (ATRL monsters) should take 1 day off from requesting in general, and see if there's any corresponding spin differences. Clearly with other forums and social media, there will be other people requesting, but we can ensure that we're not encouraging the flood of requests.
(I'm not saying we shouldn't vote on countdowns or ratethemusic stuff and all of those things, but maybe we could cool of the actual requests. Maybe that'd help!)

MTN isn't dead yet......but ultimately it's kinda GaGa's fault for not making MTN the lead single as intended.
Swap Marry the Night and Born This Way --- BTW would be smashing right now, the world could use a "feel better about myself" song right now around the holiday's (much like Firework, WRWWR and Raise Your Glass ALL in the Fall of last year).
MTN would have maintained the smash-ness of BTW because of the lead single hype + Grammy's + payola ().....while BTW would be doing better than MTN right now because it's more universal.
We should have a Payola Donation Day. Monsters from all over the world can mail me $1.99 on a specific day. I can then mail the donation money to Interscope, who can use the money for Payola, which in turn will boost MTN on radios. I'm telling you bad kids, this is the way to go
