I may sound crazy, but, am I the only one thats noticed that after we spam kiss and z with texts, they decrease the spins?
Sometimes if their request system gets overloaded for one song, they know it's people like us and not people from their local area. Stations want to play music that reflects what their local viewers request...songs that people in their area are going to actually listen to -- NOT what people from around the world WANT to be played (and won't hear directly). If that makes sense.
I do it every now and again, and I definitely don't do it when you guys post links (or at least every time) because I know everyone else and their mother's crackhead sister is going to do it so one of you guys will quit yacking about MTN.

I think the best thing about GaGa is that she and her team move quickly.
If Britney and her team released "Judas" and it started to die out immediately after the first week -- they would have done NOTHING....but GaGa's team was smart and deemed TEOG as the follow-up single after it was so successful as a promo single.
While I want MTN to have every possible chance to be successful, I could see them doing the same here and moving on to the next single quicker than normal.
