Your post was all true right until this paragraph. The Arabic language is very different from English.
Let me try to explain this...
The words Them and You are generally used for men only. There are other words in Arabic where you can speak to women. Qura'an uses the words Them and You, for the males, but is generally speaking to both sexes, because by Qura'ans prespective, men and women are equal. Thus, foreigners always mistake the Qura'an as if it's only speaking to men, because after translation, there's only one them in English (and most other languages), when in reality it's speaking to both sexes.
So Qura'an forbid homosexuality overall. Not just for gays.
