Ryan has a medical issue, but it isnt connected with Sel's thing... just coincident.
Selena Gomez won't be jingling this weekend.
It was just announced that the pop star has pulled out of two radio holiday concerts scheduled for tonight and tomorrow.
What happened?
We can assure you that Gomez is OK, but her reps explain that she had to cancel the gigs because of a "family emergency."
The Wizards of Waverly Place starlet was set to perform tonight at the B96 Jungle Bash 2011 at the Allstate Arena outside of Chicago and tomorrow at 106.1 KISS FM's Jingle Bell Bash at the WaMu Theater in Seattle. The entire Seattle show has now been postponed, because OneRepublic also had to cancel with frontman Ryan Tedder ordered by doctors to go on vocal rest.
I'm told Gomez was in the audience at Power 106's Cali Christmas 2001 concert in Los Angeles last night when she learned about the family emergency. She immediately left the show and headed home.
