I personally don't support a remix with this particular rapper, but I can see how badly they want the #1, look how CLOSE they are to that record!

As far as I'm aware, the only promo they can do is New Years Eve.

Everything was great, a #4 peak was already amazing; but no, Capitol decided to ruin it once again.

Is it even possible to get this remix cancelled? Honestly, if it goes #1, I won't even use it. They are ruining Katy's reputation. If they never did this TOTGA thing, she would have a lot more respect. LFN I can tolerate, it was #1 on everything else and would have most likely reached #1 without the remix, but this, just makes me sick. I wanna throw a cola at Capitol's marketing director. #4 would have been WONDERFUL and it is already a smash and would have done multi-platinum. One thing we could always use was her record for #1's off one album, but the more they do this the less legitimate that record is.
Anyways, this is cute! Someone should make a thread. I'll do the honors unless someone else wants to.

Why couldn't Capitol just up and let it be?
It feels so forced and they really make her look like a singles artist.
She really does have the great creativity of an amazing musician
however I feel Capitol is kind of ****ing her over and holding her back from
her artistic integrity.

I feel like crying, and I know I must sound like a sissy. But I just hate it all the **** she gets all the time, and for what, her desperate label? They go and say things like, "If it doesn't go #1, that's fine too." ********, that makes you look even dumber. Katy girl, I think this is a sign you need to drop them. I just hope she doesn't have a strict contract, though I guarantee you with as much money as she makes for them she does.

seeing how Billboard reported it, I highly doubt it will be cancelled. Even though I don't like the decision, I'm still going to buy it. We need to support. Because if this doesnt go #1 we are still going to get the same amount of hate, so we might as well as get a #1 out of all this **** we will have to deal with.
